speaking of celebrating:
we spent a long weekend away!
the thing about travelling with dw
is that the man likes to walk.
our first day in Charleston,
a trip we planned months ago
due to some crazy airline sale,
we walked 13 miles,
the 2nd day, 8 miles
and 3rd day, about 5 miles.
i’d complain, but we discovered a few gems.

other travels: adventures galore!
thats alot of walking but if you are finding all those lovely places and food, why not right?
our thoughts exactly!
Walking, eating, drinking, and exploring the local culture are my favorite ways to explore a place so your itinerary sounds fantastic!
it’s amazing how much can be discovered from walking around. i’m such a fan of the meandering vacation.
So Beautiful! I think getaways are so restorative. We entry to husk and had the pig ear, and to hominy as well. Charleston is so nice. That was such a great trip, im glad you enjoyed it. That was when I almost stopped to see you in Baltimore but I couldn’t find parking for food so we watched the orioles play the Yankees. So fun.
i still think about that pig ear, was talking about it last night at dinner with friends.
